Thanks to a new system, a ring accelerator (over or under the steering wheel) of small size is manufactured, integrating excellently with the steering wheel ergonomics. Its black leather covering makes it pleasant to the touch (optional: different colours coverings). The linear sliding and its lightness enables to make long drives without difficulties.

TECHNICAL FEATURES:

1. The 25 mm ring sliding operates a potentiometer that interacts with the control unit, complete of a microprocessor, and a servomotor mechanically connected to the original pedal.

2. The servomotor has enough power for a complete acceleration also on cars with KICK DOWN.

3. The electronic unit is studied to make the accelerator settings according to the driver's needs and to the vehicle's characteristics. All possible failures during driving are stored in its memory and can be checked later by the manufacturer.

4. The accelerator is working by a flashing switch that also marks possible failures on the basis of a winking system at different frequency.

5. The system is protected from thermal and tension overload.

6. The control unit automatically makes the reset and tests the system. In case of a serious failure the accelerator is automatically reset and the led placed on the switch indicates it.

7. The acceleration is automatically annulled during braking operation.

8. The airbag functions and steering wheel adjustments are unchanged.

ADJUSTMENTS: the installers, by a programming consolle, can interface to the control unit and modify various parameters, such as: 1. 6 various adjustment curves, for accelerator personalization. 2. Servomotor reply speed programming: 255 steps. 3. Servomotor stroke: adjustable from 24 to 60 mm, therefore adaptable to all original accelerator pedals. In case of system failure, alphanumeric codes are shown on the consolle for a quick restore made by the installers. The system does not affect the normal use of the vehicle by a non-disable driver, by deactivaiting the switch.
